Payments are a critical part of any business, and at Macquarie we’ve supported our Business Banking customers for decades with market-leading payments solutions that are tailored specifically to their industries.
In a time of accelerating change, with real-time payments, customer-experience primacy, the entry of big tech players into the payments world, and Open Banking on the horizon, it has never been more important to lead the market with innovating business payments services.
A rare opportunity exists to help shape the future of payments, bringing great solutions to the strong base of existing customers, while taking Macquarie’s unique approach to partnering into new markets and many more customers.
Working within a high-performing Platforms team that is envisioning and delivering the future of business banking, the Payments Platform Development Manager will find, assess, develop and deliver on payments opportunities. The successful candidate will work closely with Product Management and Delivery Teams, as well as the Transactional Banking Team, gaining broad exposure to the full spectrum of sales, strategy, and execution.
With partnerships and collaboration a prime focus of our payments strategy, the role requires excellent relationship and negotiation skills, underpinned by a genuine curiosity about businesses and a love of finding solutions for customer problems. Strategic thinking with qualitative and quantitative analytical skills are also highly valued. We value diversity of thought and experience, so backgrounds in any industry or profession will be considered.
If you possess the above skills and experience and are looking to take the next step in your career, please submit an application online. For a confidential discussion, please contact Georgie Brown on (03) 9635 8891.
