About the Role:
A Media and External Communications Manager is required to support Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services (BFS) Group, which comprises Macquarie’s retail banking and financial services businesses, through engagement with media and other external stakeholders.
As a business-aligned role within Corporate Communications and Investor Relations, this role is a maternity leave cover. It is a key "go to" point for BFS’ three business divisions for their media and external communications requirements.

Corporate Communications’ Media and External Communications is a central team which manages the way Macquarie is presented to the media and the broader communities in which we operate. Responsible for Macquarie’s media and a range of broader communications activities, this team works on proactive media engagement and strategy, issues management and on a variety of interactions with external stakeholders.
