Market Data Analyst – Digital Advice

We want you to use your skills to influence the future of our product. You'll be challenged to make it go faster, be more reliable and intuitive. You will get to work with the latest software technologies and market data providers as we seek to maintain our lead in global securities under advice. You'll work alongside talented engineers and highly experienced financial professionals to understand problems and deliver game changing solutions to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • develop processes to efficiently update and maintain a global securities database including listed securities and unlisted funds
  • monitoring and reconciling market data across multiple key platforms
  • identify and manage new datasets that support and enhance our product offering
  • show a high level of technical excellence that will drive new ideas and deliver an outstanding product
  • manage individual priorities, deadlines and deliverables
  • for the right candidate this role offers scope to broaden into other areas of the digital advice platform

About you:

  • ability to articulate, document and implement data maintenance solutions
  • strong attention to detail, resilient nature and high expectations of yourself and others
  • flexibility to deal with changing priorities and multi-task
  • comfortable learning new systems and functional areas
  • ability to identify opportunities for process improvement

Key Skills:

  • detailed knowledge of financial market securities and investment products
  • an in depth understanding of different asset classes and the securities used to invest in these areas, e.g. stocks, bonds, exchange traded funds, listed investment companies, exchange traded bonds, hybrids, managed funds & separately managed accounts
  • experience with corporate actions
  • familiarity with market data provider platforms such as Factset and Morningstar would be highly regarded
  • experience in Python/Pandas, SQL and Excel
