Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis (6 month Maximum Term) Macquarie Capital

As a Manager, you will proactively partner with the business to provide insights and analysis and help drive business performance. In this challenging role, your main responsibility will be split between project based work and general Financial Planning and analysis for the Macquarie Capital business. The project based work is spread across several key projects to drive business reporting and decision making. Whilst the Financial Planning and analysis will see you reviewing and presenting on the performance of the business, with your key responsibilities including analysing, reviewing and discussing information with senior stakeholders.

This is an exciting opportunity and will bring you direct exposure to senior business stakeholders who will challenge and provide you with variety in your role as well as opening future opportunities to develop your skills with guidance from team leads.

Your technical skills and qualifications will include a tertiary degree in Accounting or similar, a CA/CPA/CIMA qualification is essential, coupled with 5+ years of appropriate post qualified experience in financial services. You will be a confident leader who has a background in accounting, finance, tax or treasury and a strong interest in maintaining a career in financial services. You will be a confident communicator and possess high levels of attention to detail. In addition, you will have an appreciation of the “big picture” as well as strong Excel modelling skills.
