Manager - Business Performance Reporting, Service Area Finance

Joining a high-performing Finance team that supports the Risk Management Group (RMG), Financial Management Group (FMG) and Other Service Areas (OSA), you will play a key role in providing vital insights and analysis to help manage cost base and assist in group strategies, through pro-active partnering with a wide range of stakeholders and divisional heads. Key responsibilities will include:

  • reviewing and challenging the financial results for all the divisions of RMG, FMG & OSA
  • reviewing the financial results for all the functional teams within the groups, to give meaningful insights into the cost base
  • regular meetings with stakeholders/divisional heads to discuss monthly results and review/prepare team level headcount and cost forecasting
  • managing and assisting in designing the recovery methodologies
  • preparation and delivery of the rolling forecast, annual budget and strategy
  • identifying opportunities to simplify and improve the current process and develop user friendly reporting
  • review and delivery of CFO report
  • supporting the development of and critically asses business cases for major change projects
  • working collaboratively with the Global Financial Services team, helping them to transition knowledge from onshore to produce efficient and targeted results.

About you

You are a confident and driven individual with a background in accounting, finance or treasury. You will also have a strong interest in business performance reporting and a desire to build a career in financial management. Your tenacious attitude, curiosity, attention to detail and ability to communicate with a broad range of stakeholders will be the key to your success in this role. You will also have:

  • a CA qualification
  • 5+ years’ experience in the Chartered Accountancy profession or a relevant commercial sector
  • the ability to grasp new concepts and ideas associated with new processes and systems and on-going change in the business and reporting environment
  • a well-developed attention to detail but with capacity to appreciate the "big picture"
  • excellent Excel and presentation skills
  • excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • knowledge of TM1 system would be preferred.
