Loss Recovery Officer – 6 month contract


If you’re an experienced Loss Recovery or Collections professional and looking for a role with responsibility and challenge, then joining our Equipment Rentals business will see you responsible for implementing cost effective, efficient solutions for our customers in accordance with relevant policies, legislation and Macquarie’s values. You will also be responsible for liaising with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence through thorough record keeping and demonstrating strong attention to detail.  The position is available for an initial period of six months under a 6 months maximum term arrangement.

Our Equipment Rentals team are part of our Specialised and Asset Finance Division. The Division is a global provider of tailored finance and asset management solutions to corporate and institutional clients.

You’ll need to demonstrate a stable work history, display a compassionate, empathetic and effective work approach.  Utilising your strong communication skills your ability to work with customers in complex and sensitive situations will be essential. Ideally, you will bring approximately 5 years of experience in collections or recoveries in a commercial environment. You will also be expected to bring an understanding of the legal framework in which debt recovery litigation takes place and a working knowledge of relevant legislative requirements. A general knowledge of financial products, particularly leasing, is desirable although not essential.
