About the role:
Macquarie's Banking and Financial Services Legal and Governance team is looking for an experienced lawyer to work with the Macquarie Wealth Division of Banking and Financial Services (BFS).
The BFS Legal and Governance team assists Macquarie’s retail banking and financial services business by providing strategic legal advice and managing all of its legal issues (other than employment matters). The team also manages regulatory change across BFS and conduct risk management.
The successful candidate will be responsible for advising Macquarie Wealth on all facets of its ASX traded products, its full service broking and financial advice business, its ASX market operations and its Private Bank offering.

You will be a qualified lawyer with no less than 5 years’ experience in a law firm or in the financial services industry, and a strong understanding of the Corporations Act (in particular chapter 7), ASIC MIRs and ASX regulatory regimes. You will also have:
