Full Stack Engineer

As a Full Stack Engineer, you will join the MotoMe (www.motome.com.au) team and help us to revolutionise the way people buy cars. We aim to be a one stop shop for car buyers by making car buying fun and easy. We develop sophisticated but elegant solutions to complex customer problems.

With a strong value for principles over process, you will assist us in developing creative solutions to both new and traditional problems. You will have 3+ years coding experience and join us with a willingness to learn new technologies, languages and processes. You will be passionate about performance debugging, benchmarking and continuous improvement.

As an experienced Full Stack Engineer, you will bring strong Front-End development skills and experience and in addition, you will ideally have Native app development (Swift/Android) experience. We work in an extreme pair programming environment, using lean Agile, Test Driven Development (TDD), DevOps and Continuous Delivery.

  • TypeScript/JavaScript
  • SASS/CSS
  • SQL/Hibernate/MySQL
  • CI/CD Tools (e.g. Git, Bamboo
  • Jasmine/Karma/Mocha/Mockito
  • WebPack/NodeJS/AngularJS
  • ReactJS/Redux

We work 8.5 hour days, no more, no less – and this includes a 1 hour lunch break. We offer a flexibly start time between 8:30 and 9:30am, and 10% time. Our team has a flat structure where everyone is equal and we have monthly, self-funded team social events.
