A unique opportunity has arisen for a driven and enthusiastic EEO professional to join Macquarie as an Equal Opportunity Manager. Working with staff across the business at varying levels you will drive outcomes through engaging and building strong stakeholder relationships, reporting directly to the Work Health and Safety and EEO Director you will be exposed to high profile projects and matters across the organisation.

As the EEO Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • providing advice to managers and staff on matters relating to EEO;
  • managing EEO investigations and engaging with stakeholders (managers, Employee Relations) to progress outcomes;
  • developing and providing training and education on appropriate workplace behaviour to managers and staff, both face to face and by developing online content;
  • engaging with industry stakeholders to monitor regulatory change and drive improvements based on insights identified.

If you have the following skills we would like to hear from you:

  • legal qualifications, ideally having to exposure to Employee Relations including experience in handling workplace issues, within a large complex organisation;
  • you engage strongly with stakeholders of all levels, functions and locations, delivering high quality work, strong results with tight deadlines;
  • you have strong written and verbal communication skills with a high proficiency in presenting and PowerPoint;
  • you have an analytical mindset, adept at interpreting data sets to produce meaningful business insights and have a positive attitude with the ability to adapt quickly to different tasks.
