The Team

Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) comprises retail banking and financial services businesses, providing a diverse range of personal banking, wealth management and business banking products and services to retail customers, advisers, brokers and business clients.

The Products and Technology division of BFS sees product teams working together to share specialist expertise across all divisions and develop solutions that meet the needs of specific target markets.

The Wealth Division offers a number of financial products and services that are offered through a variety of traditional and digital channels. Together, these products and their distribution are referred to as the Wealth Platform.

The Opportunity

Platform Product Management, as part of the Wealth Division of BFS, has an exciting new opportunity to join their Platform Communications Team. The Platform Communications Team is a specialised function to support communications as it relates to a number of our Wealth products and services.

Reporting to the Platform Communications Owner, the role will be responsible for execution of the Product-led digital production tasks.

As Digital Production Associate, you will ensure that all execution is managed in a timely and efficient way, all work produced is thoroughly reviewed and QCed while forming strong working relationships with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.

The Role

The core focus of this role will be to support the end-to-end execution of Product Communications via the Wealth Platform, and working closely with your Digital Production colleagues in completing communication production tasks related to the Wealth Products and Platform.

You will be responsible for:

  • Swift and accurate execution of product and compliance communications
  • Ensuring campaign and communication material is delivered accurately, on time and within brand guidelines
  • Adhering to process and champion it, yet be flexible to changing circumstances
  • Maximising workflow efficiencies for all production tasks
  • Ensuring appropriate evaluation, measuring & reporting of production activity, results against business objectives & embed learnings
  • Working with digital producers, communications specialists and product managers to determine best practice methods for taking marketing materials to market
  • Acting as a contact for agencies for product-related material
  • Overseeing the extraction of client data for communications to ensure accuracy and updates to information at source where required
  • Working with data and other teams to ensure data integrity is managed
  • As a part of the Platform Communications Team, take ownership of the end to end production process for Product communications including:
    • maintaining process documents
    • identifying and implement opportunities to improve and streamline the production process
    • Conducting training/orientation as required

About you 

To be successful in the role, you will ideally be tertiary qualified in Marketing or Communications and have previous experience gained in a similar position within the financial services industry. You will have a strong working knowledge of take to market methodologies and a real interest for digital marketing.

Along with this you should be able to demonstrate the following competencies:

  • Strong planning & organisation skills
  • Excellent attention to details
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work to balance multiple projects and deadlines
  • High levels of flexibility and ability to work well under pressure
  • Ability to build strong working relationships and partnerships with other functional managers
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Proficient in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (for campaign building: email build and send)
  • Experience with Adobe web services an advantage
  • Digitally savvy
  • Agency/supplier liaison experience
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team
  • Can-do attitude
