DevOps Engineer

Join us as a DevOps Engineer to work closely with an agile team of business and technology experts and collaborate with a strong peer network of DevOps engineers aligned across back office delivery for our Banking and Financial Services Motor Vehicle Leasing business.  You will be part of a dynamic global team that develops and supports environments and applications. Having prior experience within an agile environment, you will be able to think analytically and have a natural ability to problem solve, coupled with excellent communication skills and a team-player mindset.

To be successful you will bring the following technical skills:

  • strong operational background supporting UNIX and/or Windows on both virtual and physical platforms
  • practical experience in Unix shell scripting / PowerShell scripting
  • experience in Core and Enterprise Java solution design and application development
  • experience with Application Monitoring and logging technologies
  • exposure / experience with AWS
  • experience with SDLC tools (e.g. Bamboo, JIRA, GIT, Confluence).

Optional but highly desirable skills:

  • experience using JavaScript frameworks (AngularJS/React)
  • experience with CI / CD tools
  • experience using and developing SOAP/Rest APIs with XML & JSON
  • database technology (Oracle, Microsoft SQL) knowledge
  • fluent in SQL to perform ad-hoc queries and develop new database solutions.
