Data and Modelling Analyst – Asset and Liability Management, Group Treasury

Your focus in this exciting new opportunity will be on developing our modelling and reporting capabilities used to manage the Group’s balance sheet risks across liquidity, funding and interest rate in the banking book. You will be joining a high calibre team within the Group Treasury function, and contribute to the delivery of Treasury asset liability risk analysis and will have the opportunity to work closely with stakeholders from across the organisation.

This role will provide you with the opportunity to design and build asset and liability models, and reports and presentation material that will communicate risk exposures and financial performance. You will identify the information needed to drive daily balance sheet risk models and work with data and technology teams to source data inputs.

This role will suit you if you have a passion for working with data, are highly analytical and if you have the ability to interpret and communicate complex information to a wide audience. An outstanding academic background in a financial or quantitative degree (mathematics, information technology, engineering, accounting or finance) is expected, and experience in a treasury, risk or finance role is advantageous. Exceptional candidates with relevant skills gained in other industries are strongly encouraged to apply.

In addition, experience using database tools, programming languages and balance sheet modelling tools (e.g. QRM) would be beneficial.

To apply, please submit your resume and academic transcripts with a detailed cover letter demonstrating your suitability against the requirements
