Data Analytics Manager / Senior Manager

In this role you will lead, develop and deliver analytics assets end to end, which includes stakeholder engagement, requirements gathering, project management, technical development and management, and supervision and coaching of other team members.

Analytical assets will vary from data process design and automation (including big data infrastructure development), interactive dashboards development, predictive/unsupervised model development and management. All this using the latest technologies, with a mandate to explore how data and analytics can make Risk Management efficient, effective and more anticipatory.

You will bring with you, a minimum bachelor’s degree in a STEM discipline and have experience leading projects and teams either in consultancies or other financial institutions. A prior experience with Agile is preferred as this role will also serve as Team Leader/Scrum Master.

You will need to be business focused and enjoy building rapport with a wide range of stakeholders from across the organisation. The role will give you the opportunity to work and learn from an established team where you will work collaboratively to find solutions and provide optimal results for the business. As such, you will need to be able to communicate these to the business in both a technical and non-technical way.

The role will give you the opportunity to show your experience in using several technologies and platforms such as AWS, Impala, GCP, Python, Jupyter, Alteryx; scripting languages such as SPARK, SQL, R, VBA, Python and experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI and so on.

You will also bring prior experience in model development and management lifecycles and best practices along with experience with Big Data infrastructures.
