Chief Product Owner - Cyber Identity Services


You will join our Identity and Access Management team, which is part of the broader Identity and Cyber Security department within the wider Technology division.  The department is focused on preparing for, protecting against and responding to Cyber Security events.

A major initiative of Identity and Access Management is the internal workforce User Access Management Transformation. Giving staff the access they need to do their job from Day 1, this transformation will remove complicated passwords to remember, advanced biometrics, user behaviour analytics, and machine learning which will drive quicker, more informed and risk-aware user access decisions.

This role will require you to lead the strategy and drive delivery of the IAM suite of solutions, setting the priority for the team, and managing the pipeline of work from our internal teams and managing key stakeholder and vendor relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the strategy, risks and delivery of key strategic initiatives to mature the overall capabilities within the Cyber Identity Services team
  • Managing relationships and communications with internal stakeholders to requirements and roadmap of capabilities within the portfolio
  • Vendor management for key technology and service provides
  • Management of budget for the services
  • Management of global staff within the IAM product team.

You will bring the following technical experience:

  • Experience as a Chief Product Owner and leader of global teams
  • A background in cyber security and identity and access management
  • A technical background in identity governance and administration, authentication and authorisation technologies
  • Technology savvy, with exceptional communication skills, both written and verbalStrong vendor management experience
  • Ability to communicate and engage stakeholders or service providers in technical and non-technical discussions
  • Understanding of current and emerging security technologies, security threats and trends and how to remediate them
  • Experience working within DevOps structured teams (including continuous integration and delivery)
  • Proven practical experience with security across multiple cloud / virtualization environments: AWS, Azure, Google Cloud etc
