Change Manager, Operating Model Transformation Project


Join a collaborative and high performing project team who have been tasked with designing the future Financial Management Group’s operating model. This will include, our organisation’s business group design, operating processes, systems, services, capabilities, and locations.

Using your experience in supporting operating model style projects, you will be key to driving this project to completion. Working as part of a team you will be involved in the development and delivery of the change management strategy, plan and activities to support the delivery of an improved operating model. The current phase of the project includes conducting analysis of the current and future state by applying design principles.

Your day to day responsibilities in your role will include:

  • Working with the Operating Model Program Director and Project Manager to develop the change management strategy and plan to ensure good stakeholder adoption
  • working with project manager to ensure projects are well defined, roles are clear, and teams are well engaged
  • supporting the team to identify and engage stakeholders to ensure our people’s needs are understood and change plans consider these needs
  • conducting impact analysis on current and ‘to be’ processes and controls
  • working with function leaders to develop and deploy bespoke people engagement plans and activities to overcome resistance and facilitate adoption
  • developing and implementing the communication strategy and plan
  • designing and delivering training and material for new ways of working
  • collaborating and taking part in our change management network, sharing good practices and learnings and building change capability within the Group

To be successful, you will have the previous experience working on an operating model focussed project and working in a finance function are advantageous

  • A focus on end user experiences and design thinking frameworks
  • a proven track record influencing and communicating with senior level stakeholders on a regular basis
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong documentation skills to ensure initiative benefits and requirements are clear to stakeholders
