Business Support Associate (12 months contract) - Wealth Management, Advice - Perth

About the role

The Macquarie Wealth Management Division has an opportunity for a Business Support Associate to join the team in our Perth office for a 12 months maternity leave cover. The role is responsible for working with the Advice Leadership Team to support them in all aspects of their role and ensure that the team is working in a productive and effective manner.

Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Preparing and processing monthly AMEX statements for the Leadership Team
  • Booking all domestic and international travel for the team
  • Diary management for the Wealth Advice Leadership Team - including arranging meetings with internal and external clients, room bookings, catering and RSVP's.
  • Coordinating meetings and manage room bookings for all states via the global booking system
  • Managing new starter on boarding
  • Scanning / photocopying / filing of team documents
  • Processing all invoices and statement of work requirements through P2P
  • Providing general adhoc administrative support
  • Adhoc support requests from the Leadership team

About you

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have experience in an administrative role and interest in Finance
  • Have a proactive approach, with the ability to respond well under pressure
  • Relish working within a dynamic team environment where accuracy, hard work, initiative and a sense of humour is encouraged
  • Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills
  • Possess excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
  • Be flexible in your approach to work and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
  • Have intermediate MS office skills and computer literacy
  • Have exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Have naturally helpful nature and willingness to assist wherever needed
