Business Analyst


An exciting opportunity for a self-orientated, passionate and experienced Technical Business Analyst. In this role you will join a diverse and innovative DevOps team that develops and maintains Governance, Risk, and Compliance solutions for our Risk Management Group.

In this role, the chosen candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of projects, dictating how solutions are implemented, introducing best practises and gaining exposure to new and interesting technologies.

As our Technical Business Analyst, you will facilitate workshops to gather, analyse and document business requirements. On a day-to-day basis you’ll work closely with the technical team and vendors to develop solutions, including performance system configuration, prototypes and proof of concepts. You will also work to create relevant documentation including functional requirements, user stories, process maps, technical specifications and project artefacts.

You will foster strong working and collaborative relationships with the business and technology stakeholders and support implementation activities including planning, deployment, training, handover and warranty and provide oversight to testing activities. Through working with the platform owner, you will identify new opportunities for the platform, defining best practises and the product roadmap.

This role is suitable for a candidate with several years of experience working as a Technical Business Analyst and ideally with knowledge of OpenPages GRC platform or other enterprise GRC platforms.

You will bring a strong background in data analysis and will be proficient with SQL, BI and data visualisation tools. You’ll have excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills and prior exposure to collaborative toolsets including JIRA and Confluence.
