Analyst/Senior Analyst, Data Analytics & Reporting

We currently have an exciting opportunity within our Data Analytics and Reporting team. Sitting within our Compliance division and as part of a close knit team, you will work closely with colleagues across the wider Compliance division and in Operational Risk to assist with the continued development of our data analytics solutions.

You will be responsible for:

• supporting the design and maintenance of Compliance data analytics and reporting dashboards for internal stakeholders
• applying statistical concepts and models to assist in the production and tracking of Compliance key performance indicators and validation of compliance models
• coordinating and collecting relevant data points to assist with the creation of our  internal dashboards, management reports with insights to support decision making
• conducting model validation and tuning exercises
• maintaining an open dialogue with global users and stakeholders and regular reporting of progress to management and stakeholders at all levels of the organization
• independently applying problem solving skills to identify meaningful insights that would help drive continuous improvement in the data analytics and reporting capabilities of the team           

Data analytics and Reporting is a key area of focus for senior leadership and this role provides the opportunity to drive and influence change through involvement in strategic projects in keys areas such as Conduct Risk and Surveillance. If you possess an innovative and inquisitive mind with a keen interest in data analytics, this could be a great role for you. Having a sound proficiency across a range of analytical tools including Tableau and prior experience in financial services would be highly regarded for the role.

Risk Management Group is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed. Its divisions include Credit, Prudential, Capital and Markets, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Compliance, Quantitative Applications and Internal Audit.
