Stakeholder Engagement Manager

Lendlease is one of the world’s leading fully integrated property solutions providers. We are committed to creating and building innovative and sustainable solutions, forging partnerships and delivering strong investment returns. For you, it’s a place full of purpose and possibilities.

We are currently looking for a driven relationship focused Stakeholder Engagement Manager to join our Retirement Living team on a 6-month contract based on the Sunshine Coast. Working closely with the Marketing, Sales and Development teams, you will be responsible for managing community consultation for the project and generating additional interest in a new retirement village on the Sunshine Coast.

In this role you will build community relationships and the profile of a new village, as well as, identify, engage and build strong connections with key community groups and stakeholders across the catchment area.

You will work on a broad cross-section of tasks focusing on initial community consultation for a new development, seeking to drive engagement and relationship building with targeted audiences, increase brand awareness and encourage community involvement and participation.

This exciting opportunity requires someone who has considerable previous experience in a stakeholder engagement role. The preferred candidate will possess strong written and verbal communication skills and enjoy networking and dealing with a variety of people on a daily basis. You will call on your excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills to build strong partnerships.

You will lead the transition of Stakeholder and Community Engagement strategies from acquisition phase into project-based implementation. You will work alongside local teams to achieve a portfolio benchmark approach to engagement. This will be achieved through your input into planning and delivery of agreed consultation and engagement tactics. These might include community needs assessment, formal consultation programs, and management of community events and partnerships. Your aim will be to foster a culture of trust and collaboration with key stakeholders and the local community, leading to the creation of great places for people.

Ideally, you have at least 5 years’ experience in a similar role. Passionate for the retirement industry, you will be proactive and thrive in a dynamic environment with competing priorities. CRM and data management experience will also be an advantage. The role will require a highly organised and structured approach to work, planning of events and engagement with external parties and an ability to manage workload autonomously. You will be able to travel and may need to work the occasional weekend.

If you are focused and aspire to grow your career in a challenging and leading edge environment, then you will have a future with great possibilities with us.
