Services Manager


Opportunity for an experienced Building/Construction Services Manager to lead delivery of the complex building services on our newest health project.

From specialised research facilities to major regional hospitals, Lendlease has extensive expertise in delivering hospital and other healthcare projects in Australia and around the world.

Delivery of our $350m Acute Services Building project at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick has commenced. The building will be built to the west of the existing campus and will include, a new emergency department, extra beds, a new helipad, a new intensive care unit, and new shared operating theatres.

As Services Manager, supported by a team of Services Engineers, you will play an integral role in managing and resolving the detail design for the complex building services packages across the project, whilst managing subcontractors and service suppliers to deliver a successful construction project. This includes developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality and ensuring high levels of Health & Safety at all times.

Ideally you will possess relevant engineering or construction management qualifications supported by proven experience in a similar position on building construction projects which had advanced building services (mechanical, electrical and hydraulic) needs, previous health project exposure is desirable but not essential.

Leadership skills will also be key as will a passion for customer focused outcomes, driving safety, quality and sustainability, along with the ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, and a collaborative nature. Both are key with engaging with multiple internal, external and client stakeholder groups. You will have a genuine passion for major building projects and want to the drive to build on your experience and develop further with Lendlease.
