Senior Urban Designer


Lendlease is currently searching for a Senior Urban Designer to join one of our key business units, Integrated Solutions.

As Senior Urban Designer, reporting to and working in conjunction with the Head of Product, you will support the business’ urban design capability and team. Managing urban design assignments and assisting in the development of design work, you will ensure delivery of services is within agreed timeframes and budgetary parameters and in compliance with applicable standards and procedures. Forming effective relationships and working closely with internal clients, you will be focused to the pre-origination/feasibility to conversion stages of developments. This will involve assisting in the response to briefs, urban frameworks, place propositions, assembly of products, master plans and co-ordination of project inputs, data and consultants as necessary, as well as broader internal and external teams, to ensure the delivery of plans and designs exceed the business’ expectations.

The successful candidate will have an urban design, planning, architectural or related qualification supported by experience in a similar Senior Urban Designer position. Experience managing the urban design process throughout the entirety of a project’s lifecycle is required, preferably on complex mixed-use projects.

You will be a vibrant, organised, customer centric and independent individual with strong communication skills, able to work in a dynamic environment, building key relationships with a range of stakeholders across the business.
