Senior Accountant – Group Services


A fantastic opportunity has become available for a dynamic Senior Accountant to join our Financial & Management Accounting and Reporting team based in Chatswood.

Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, you will perform a broad range of financial and management accounting and reporting tasks to ensure accurate and timely reporting for the Group Services business in Australia. A key role in the team, you will contribute to the preparation and analysis of management reporting information to support and inform management decisions with regards to financial planning, control and performance management processes. In addition, you will have ownership for delivering financial statements and reports to accurately reflect the financial results of the Group Services entities and ensure compliance with applicable regulatory standards.

To be considered for this role, you will have a demonstrated background in finance and accounting complemented by relevant tertiary qualifications. A confident self-starter you possess the ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from manager to accomplish objectives. You have strong communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills with the ability to make the complex simple in pursuit of clear deliverables. Your personal qualities will include a tenacious and positive attitude, attention to detail and the ability to build excellent rapport with colleagues and stakeholders alike.

To be successful in this role, CA/CPA qualifications will be essential as well as strong current technical accounting knowledge, strong excel skills and demonstrated experience in Financial and Management Reporting.
