Quality Officer

Reporting to the Stakeholder and Quality Manager, this role will provide consultancy support to the senior management team on compliance with ISO standards and continuous business improvement initiatives. As Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for implementing, monitoring and auditing management systems for contract operations and regulatory compliance. You will be required to identify and implement corrective actions, educating and collaborating with Line Managers and Employees.

Part of your role will include establishing quality metrics and reporting for delegation around the business as well as driving the scheduling of compliance and audits. You will participate in HSEQ incident investigations and provide feedback on system or process control improvements that will support HSEQ risk management.

To successfully perform this position, it is expected that you will have experience auditing or responding to audit feedback. You will be able to effectively manage detailed quality data, records and reports with Advanced Microsoft Office skills. Experience in engaging, mentoring and coaching a diverse range of people is essential – theoretical training (qualifications in training, auditing, OHS or similar) will be highly regarded.

In addition, you will be able to identify, assess and improve business systems and processes. You will be forward-thinking and process orientated. This position offers the opportunity to transition into the infrastructure sector. The role is based in our Rockdale project office with free staff parking and public transport nearby.
