Project Engineer


Lendlease Building are searching for an experienced Project Engineer to join our newest health project, valued at $350Mil.

From specialised research facilities to major regional hospitals, Lendlease has extensive expertise in delivering hospital and other healthcare projects in Australia and around the world.

As Project Engineer, you will be an integral part of our project delivery team on a new Acute Services Building at the Prince of Wales Hospital in Randwick. The building will be built to the west of the existing campus, housing a new emergency department, extra beds, a new helipad, a new intensive care unit, and new shared operating theatres.

This role will see you overseeing the construction delivery of building packages as Project Engineer; managing subcontractors and service suppliers, involve developing and maintaining construction programs, implementing the procurement strategy, value engineering, managing quality and ensuring high levels of Health & Safety at all times.

Ideally you will possess engineering or construction management qualifications supported by experience in a similar position on large scale building construction projects, previous hospital/healthcare experience would be beneficial.

Leadership skills will also be key as will a passion for customer focused outcomes, driving safety, quality and sustainability, along with the ability to demonstrate strong communication skills, and a collaborative nature. Both are key with engaging with multiple internal, external and client stakeholder groups.
