People Operations Associate


People Operations Associates deliver specialist operational activities deemed in scope for the Global People Operations team in accordance with the agreed service standards. In addition, this role also supports the People Connect team to deliver an exceptional customer experience.

The role will see you establish and proactively manage stakeholder relationships internally as well as externally, including managing customer expectations and seeking customer feedback. You will assist in management of the delivery of People & Culture operational activities including but not limited to:

  • Generating letters of offer and contracts
  • Set up and issue of new starter documentation via DocuSign
  • Generating & assisting in the production of other employment documentation during an employee’s life cycle
  • Establish super user expertise within the People Operations team for workflow and document management technologies
  • Management of background checks with external system providers to completion and ad hoc troubleshooting where required

In addition, you will coach managers and employees on Workday processes as well as identify and recommend continuous business process improvement within the People Operations team.

Essential to the role is strong communication skills allowing you to partner closely with various stakeholders to ensure positive business outcomes. You will be customer focused with strong problem solving and organisational skills, complemented by excellent attention to detail. You will thrive in a team based environment but also be confident to work autonomously with the ability to work to strict deadlines. Ideally, you have a HR or payroll background and are used to working efficiently with systems, processing a high volume of requests.

This role is based in our Barangaroo office and available on a fixed term contract until 31st July 2020. There may be an opportunity to extend beyond that point. If you are process driven and exciting about this role, apply now!
