Mechanic

With a national delivery capability, combined with a sector-focussed approach, Lendlease Building provides innovative and industry-leading project management, design and construction services driven by detailed sector knowledge and experience. We push boundaries to create iconic places that are innovative, sustainable and commercially viable. Our Building business is renowned for market-leading project management, design and construction services.

We love a challenge and solving problems. Our clients come to us when it’s important: to handle complexity, drive diversity, offer strategic and long-term value, and to create innovative solutions.

A rare opportunity has arisen to join our high performing NSW Workshop at St Mary’s. We are currently seeking an experienced Plant Mechanic, with experience working at heights and servicing Cranes. On offer is a permanent, full time position with plenty of scope to grow. You will be joining a close-knit and experienced team. You must be willing to work reasonable overtime including weekends, and available for frequent travel within the local region, as well as interstate (ACT).

To be successful in your application, you will demonstrate the following skills and experience;

  • Relevant Trade Certificate (Heavy Vehicle Mobile Plant).
  • Ability to confidently work at significant heights, and hold a current Working at Heights ticket.
  • Excellent diagnostic, problem solving and repair skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Tower Crane and Hoist maintenance skills. (highly desirable but not essential)
  • Crane ticket (highly desirable but not essential).

Additionally, you will show a commitment to safe work practices – aligned with Lendlease standards, a positive attitude, excellent team work and the ability to exude customer service and leadership qualities. A current driver’s licence, high risk work licence and white card are also essential.

When it’s important we deliver. Some projects simply demand it. A focus, a new idea, a finish date, a cost imperative, a level of safety, a way of working, a strategic partner. Or a complete re-think.

Lendlease is a diverse, flexible and inclusive employer of choice. We engage, enable and empower our people. Inclusion sets all of us up for success.
