Maintenance Officer - Part Time


Set in beautifully landscaped gardens, Allora Gardens, based in Maroochydore, is a perfectly positioned oasis offering an impressive Clubhouse, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, and well-equipped gymnasium, for its many residents.

To ensure the highest standard of resort style luxuries at the Village, we are currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Maintenance Officer to join the team on a part time basis (three days a week), to deliver general maintenance and repairs of buildings, fixtures and fittings, facilities and associated structures in accordance with the Village Maintenance Plan. Some occasional maintenance work at our boutique village, Hibiscus Nambour, will also be required.

Under the guidance of the Village Manager, the Maintenance Officer is responsible for the execution of the maintenance activity within the village in accordance with existing frameworks and budget ensuring all work is carried out following the correct procedures.

To be successful you must have:

  • Demonstrated competence as a handyperson or experience in a site maintenance role or similar
  • Understanding of machinery use and tools required for the job
  • Highly organised and able to effectively manage and prioritise multiple tasks
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative
  • Knowledge of EHS legislation
  • Current Driver’s License
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
