Gardener


Eaglemount Retirement Resort is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and customer service focused Gardener to join their team on a permanent, part-time basis. You will be responsible for all aspects of lawn, garden and property maintenance of the Village in accordance with Lendlease standards and Resident Committee requirements.

Working in a team environment, your duties will include; mowing (ride-on mower), hedging, pruning, whipper snipper-ing and various small maintenance tasks as required. Hours of work will be between 7am - 12noon Monday to Friday (25 hours per week).

To be successful you must have;

  • Demonstrated experience within a similar role.
  • Positive and upbeat attitude, with a genuine interest in interacting with the elderly.
  • Open, current Driver’s Licence.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of plants, growth patterns, safe work practices for fertilisers and other chemicals.
  • Strong organisational skills, managing and prioritising multiple tasks.
  • Level 2 First Aid Certificate (or willing to obtain one).
