Finance Manager, Project Accounting & Reporting

As a result of an internal move, a rare opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join our Project Accounting and Reporting team based in Chatswood, Sydney.

Our unique team manages the quality and timeliness of project accounting information, is focused on the integrity of project transactional and forecasting systems, execution of monthly deliverables and the evolution of our Project Accounting systems. The key stakeholders of this high performing function are the Building & Engineering Project teams, Capella Capital, Finance Business Partners, ICT and Global Finance Services teams.

We are undergoing a significant period of transformation and integral to your role will be leading a small team to support our projects in embedding and optimizing the use of project accounting systems, primarily our Project Budgeting and Forecasting (PBF) TM1 based system. You will ensure compliance to internal governance procedures, support best-practice and play a key role in the identification and execution of various continuous improvements initiatives.

You will have a demonstrated track record in finance roles as well as a strong interest in financial systems and change management. You will possess outstanding stakeholder management skills as well as demonstrable experience in customer service. You will thrive in a team based environment and be comfortable being a self-starter who can work independently with a high level of initiative. You will have successfully managed or mentored individuals within a high performing team and have a strong enthusiasm for developing members of your team. It is a busy, visible and varied role with a genuine connection with project operations and Lendlease Group functions. Prior exposure to Oracle R12 and/or TM1 is highly desirable. Degree qualified, you will have completed your CA/CPA. As our project locations are all around Australia, occasional travel may be expected from this role.
