Field Designer

As our telecommunications sector continues to expand, we now have an opportunity for a Field Designer to join our team located in Wagga Wagga. As Field Designer your responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the end to end design process from field to desktop, producing design deliverables, including managing design issues with NBN Co as required.
  • Delivery of design on-time, ensuring most cost effective solution is provided.
  • Work closely with Construction and Land Access Teams, as well as Project Managers, to ensure project objectives are being met
  • Propose innovative ideas to ensure continuous improvement
  • Be responsive and flexible to dynamic client demands and needs
  • Work in line with Lendlease SWMS and ensure safety is always at the forefront of everything we do
  • Liaise with stakeholders such as land owners and regulatory authorities to manage any design objections and co-ordinate accordingly
  • Attend tool box meetings
  • Ensure all required management systems documentation is adhered to

If you are an experienced Telecommunications Designer with a minimum of 5 years' practical experience in civil and telecommunications, this is a great opportunity to play an integral role in this exciting project with a strong pipeline of future work.

To successfully perform this role it is expected that you will have a good knowledge of Copper & FTTx fibre networks, MDU design and the ability to work closely with contractors and other stakeholders.
