Emergency Response Attendant


Highvale Retirement Village in Glen Waverley is currently seeking an enthusiastic, committed and reliable Emergency Response Attendant to provide onsite response to Village emergency calls working on a casual basis approximately 2 to 3 shifts per week. You will require availability to work over a 7 day roster with shifts commencing at 3pm and involving a sleepover shift before finishing at 6am the following morning.

With a commitment to providing exceptional customer service, the successful candidate will have proven experience in dealing with the elderly along with the ability to make critical decisions in relation to emergency call outs from residents with a professional and positive approach to work to ensure that all residents’ needs are met in accordance with Lendlease standards and Resident Committee requirements.

To be successful you must have;

  • Current First Aid Certificate (essential)
  • Previous experience in a Community Services support role
  • Broad understanding of the legislation, regulations and requirements, and issues affecting Retirement Villages would be an advantage but not essential
  • Highly motivated and able to take initiative
