Electrical G&B Linesman Distribution


Due to an increased workload we are currently seeking applications from trade qualified Distribution and Glove and Barrier Linesmen interested in joining our team in Ferntree Gulley. Working within the Power and Services Division, you will be reporting into the Works Manager covering multiple projects across the city in a business that has a strong pipeline of future work.

To be successful in this role you will be a VIC trade qualified Lineworker, holding a Certificate III in Distribution (Powerline). Ideally this qualification will be combined with demonstrated experience within a similar, commercial environment. Day to day, you will be involved in the installation and maintenance of overhead powerlines carrying electricity to domestic, commercial and industrial users.

Furthermore, to be successful in your application – you will ideally have the following skills and qualifications;

  • Strong understanding and appreciation of Health and Safety practices.
  • Ability to meet individual project productivity & target costs.
  • Hold a current licence to perform High Risk Work, Construction White / Blue Card.
  • Share our commitment to the highest quality of workmanship.
  • Desirable – Forklift licence, Chainsaw Ticket, Dogging ticket/s.

To be considered for the Glove and Barrier role, you must demonstrate previous experience working within this capacity, along with relevant training and HV licences.
