About the team
Deloitte's Consulting practice helps clients solve complex business issues by combining process and industry knowledge with deep expertise in enabling technologies and packaged software and this team is expanding rapidly.

About the role:
The Lead Business Architect is responsible for ensuring the functional solution design meets the business needs for the business / functional domain. It acts as the interface between the project team and the client to ensure that the business model (structure, processes, roles, products) is reflected in, and enabled by the technology solution.

Role responsibilities:

  • Provide a single point of contact for business stakeholders, third parties and the Temenos Project team throughout the project lifecycle
  • Challenge bespoke requirements and influence business stakeholders to adapt operations to the Standard Model Bank functionality and reduce local customisations
  • Exhibit strong consulting skills and industry knowledge spanning multiple domains
  • Serving as the single point of contact for a holistic functional solution (covering at a minimum loans and deposit products) within T24 and BaaS, and for external systems that need to consume the Temenos data
  • Acting as the liaison between the business functional teams i.e. Customer, Product, Payment, Accounting and Reporting (Agile Scrum Teams) to ensure collaboration
  • Challenging business requirements in order to facilitate the adopt vs. adapt concept: Adopt to Temenos, rather than Adapt existing business processes and functions, thereby reducing locally built deviations
  • Supporting the Agile Scrum teams with system queries/issues raised during the Development, Go-Live and Production stages, and if required liaising directly with Temenos Product Team in order to resolve these issues timely


    About your Skills/Requirements:

  • Product knowledge: Temenos portfolio with expert knowledge in one specific product together with a willingness and ability to master other Temenos products
  • Knowledge of general Architecture of T24 and BaaS and related interfaces
  • Strong awareness of Industry and market developments in Temenos
  • Degree in Business/ Finance/ Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • In-depth understanding of Temenos T24 and BaaS modules
  • Experience in writing functional software specifications
  • Ability to translate business requirements into IT solutions
  • Strong analytical skills, organised, process driven and detail-oriented
  • Good verbal and written communication skills, good presentation and problem solving skills and the ability to work well with client
  • Goal-oriented and self-motivated team player who works best in a collaborative team environment
