KPMG Transaction Services is positioned within our Deals Tax and Legal (DTL) group and specialises in providing services to clients undertaking a broad range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, capital raising, public takeovers, demergers and disposals. We assist clients across a diverse range of industries to identify and manage transaction risks and facilitate quality investment decisions.
Your Opportunity
Our Perth office is looking for an experienced Analyst to join this niche group. Working as a member of a close knit supportive team you will be responsible for the following:
- Supporting the project management for transaction advisory engagements (mergers and acquisitions, divestitures and complex capital raisings), providing financial and business due diligence assistance
- Helping to co-ordinate the approach of KPMG’s engagement teams, client needs and other third party diligence/service providers throughout the transaction process
- Analyse target company data to identify historical and projected financial and operating trends, quality of earnings, working capital considerations, potential liabilities, net debt and risks which impact valuation, deal negotiation and execution
- Assist in the preparation and presentation of due diligence reports
- Assist in business development activities such as proposals, client identification, pitch packs and tenders

- CA or CFA qualification(s), or are in the process of achieving the qualification(s), and a strongly aligned tertiary qualification (Commerce, Law etc)
- Demonstrated experience at Analyst level within a similar professional services firm or corporate environment
- Strong project management and stakeholder engagement skills
- Advanced financial analysis, reporting and problem solving skills
