As a TBM Practice manager you will provide transparency to expenses and assist the ITS (Information Technology Services) Leadership with ability to align spend with key initiatives. Oversee 5 TBMA’s and other key stakeholders to drive clarity of ITS direction, spend and alignment with KPMG top-down goals.   

Your new role  

You will be responsible for: 

  • Validation of and reporting on Firmwide technology spend  

  • Provide visibility of IT spend via Apptio dashboards to influence ITS strategy 

  • Educate, guide, and advise ITS Leadership team and Cost Centre owners to use the dashboards to find insights or actionable intelligence 

  • Act as key interface between IT Leadership and Finance Leadership on strategy regarding IT Total Cost of Ownership, financial metrics, cost transparency initiatives and recharge opportunities 

  • Present data gathered back to IT and Finance Leadership with full confidence and clarity over the data 

  • Automate the ingestion of data from systems of record such as General Ledger, Fixed Assets, Splunk, SAP, Service Now, Azure, CaaS etc. into the Apptio platform 

  • Provide TBMP input to improve IT operational metric’s for increased accuracy and insights 

  • Conduct monthly TBMP update to ITS, LTS, and Finance stakeholders to reduce ‘silo’ activities. 

  • Provide ad hoc financial reporting and analysis to support the ITS Leadership Team in coordination with the finance leadership. 

  • Drive Continuous Service Improvement for the TBM Practise 

You bring to the role 

  • Excellent communication skills, spoken and written, and effective in communicating with staff and stakeholders at all levels. 

  • Ability to manage the internal expectations and adapt to a constantly changing environment. 

  • Flexible and adaptable to fluctuating workflow levels. 

  • Ideally 3-5 years in Accounting (CA preferred) – or someone who thoroughly understands the accounting language. 

  • Experience with IT operational data and someone who is capable of uplifting the overall ITS strategy moving forward 

  • Experience with Financial reporting 3-5 years 

  • Experience in Management 2 years 

  • TBMA qualification  

  • Technology degree/significant operational experience.
