With continued growth in our Brisbane practice, we are now seeking an experienced or up and coming Tax Manager to join the KPMG Enterprise division. Our team works with multinational organisations, high net worth individuals, significant privately owned businesses, and dynamic/growing Queensland based businesses – providing insightful and relevant advice on whatever opportunities and challenges they face.

Your new role: With a focus on complex commercial, tax and accounting advisory and compliance matters, you will become a trusted adviser to your clients and provide a seamless level of service alongside your team. You will:

  • Effectively manage the routine compliance tax and accounting services required by clients;
  • Leverage your knowledge of clients to work closely with the Partners and Directors in delivering proactive and relevant advice

You will contribute to the day-to-day management of our talented team including mentoring, training and career development activities. You will also be involved in continuous improvement and other innovative initiatives to help drive the continued growth of the practice.

You bring to the role:

  • A collaborative and confident attitude
  • Strong relationship building and leadership skills
  • Tertiary qualifications in Commerce/Accounting including CA and/or Masters of Taxation
  • Extensive tax compliance and advisory experience in a reputable professional services environment
  • High level of technical competence in taxation matters and common entity structures
  • Expert ability to prepare financial statements and income taxation returns
