    KPMG’s Engineering & Asset Management team

    We are seeking qualified people who will bring extensive experience of Systems Engineering gained within the defence sector to join the Engineering and Asset Management (E&AM) team. You will help further develop a new service offering to clients and drive project delivery in areas aligned to your key expertise across defence and civil sectors.

    Your qualifications could include a minimum of Bachelor or Master of Science, Engineering or Technology.

    Potential candidates will have applied knowledge and experience in one or more of the following areas in the air, land, sea, space and/or Defence sectors, including:

    Standards and processes for engineering complex systems.

  • The development, analysis and management of system requirements.
  • Planning and conduct of verification & validation/test & evaluation activities/programs.
  • Analysis and design of C4ISR, C2 and/or EW systems.
  • High-level operational needs analysis.
  • Models-based approach to systems engineering.
  • Integration of engineering activities across the Capability Life Cycle.

     

    Potential candidates should have:

  • Strong skills and experience in engaging with clients and stakeholders.
  • High level strategic thinking and problem solving skills, and the ability to effectively communicate and manage unexpected and sensitive issues and events.
  • Demonstrated advanced ability to conceptualise required outcomes for complex issues and quickly convert analysis into practical, quantitative business recommendations.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise initiatives and deliver solutions in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Management consulting experience (desirable).

     

    You will be responsible for:

  • Working side by side with our Defence and civil clients in complex systems businesses, to effectively and efficiently drive optimal solutions, and inform client decisions which leverage innovation.
  • Working as part of our E&AM team to develop and grow KPMG’s Engineering and Asset Management Advisory and intelligent assets capability.

The successful candidate would be an Australian Citizen with highly developed communications, collaboration and problem solving skills, and a proven track record of achieving results. You understand the Management Consulting space and your consulting skills are second to none with your exceptional quality of delivery, ability to manage self and teams and strong business acumen.
