Senior Consultant to Manager - Infrastructure Advisory

Your Opportunity

We are currently seeking a candidate at the Senior Consultant (Executive) to Manager (Senior Executive) level to be based in our Perth office. This position offers you the opportunity to take responsibility for the delivery of advice that supports our clients and our vision.

Day-to-day, you will:

  • Provide clients with strategic, financial, commercial, economic, transactional and real estate advice, in relation to business cases, strategy and transaction processes (including delivery strategy, procurement planning, tendering, negotiation and financial close) to procure large scale projects across a range of sectors
  • Undertake qualitative and quantitative analysis regarding investment in infrastructure
  • Assist in or manage the preparation of client deliverables, including drafting reports, Infrastructure Australia submissions and presentations as well as financial / economic modelling and analysis
  • Manage client engagements or discrete work streams within a larger engagement, coaching and developing junior staff and client resources
  • Support in the identification of opportunities for engagement and participating in business development initiatives
  • Pursue opportunities to continuously improve the way we work and “do things better” for the benefit of our clients and the community more broadly
  • Be supported with comprehensive internal training opportunities, enabling your to shape your growth at KPMG
  • Play an active role in supporting the development of the IPG team and fostering a collaborative and inclusive culture of work

How are you Extraordinary?

You’re likely to bring with you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in commerce, law, finance, economics, engineering, public policy or other relevant subjects and have outstanding academic transcripts
  • Relevant professional experience likely gained in a Chartered Accounting firm, real estate advisory, law firm, management consultancy, economic consultancy, engineering consultancy, corporate advisor, investment bank, project finance team of a commercial bank, infrastructure fund, construction firm or within government
  • Strong interest in developing a career in infrastructure, property market, corporate finance, economics, strategy and transaction advisory
  • Relevant experience with major projects in the transport, social infrastructure or property sectors
  • The ability to build rapport and empathy with the people around you, combined with strengths in problem-solving and a keen eye for detail
  • Ability to juggle competing demands across multiple engagements in a dynamic environment
