Our Compliance and Conduct team supports clients to manage regulatory challenges, review effectiveness of their risk and compliance frameworks, and deliver enduring and sustainable compliance function outcomes. We are looking for a highly talented Senior Consultant and Manager with strong industry compliance and/or risk experience to join our successful and rapidly growing team.  You will be responsible for delivering high quality compliance advisory services to a variety of organisations across various industries.

What qualifications we are looking for:

  • Tertiary qualification preferably in commerce/business/finance and/or law.
  • Other relevant qualifications will be looked upon favourably, such as Certificate IV in Compliance and Risk Management, or industry specific qualifications or certifications

Experience we are looking for:

We provide risk and consulting services to a wide variety of industries and organisations and are therefore open to candidates from diverse backgrounds including experience in:

  • A regulatory compliance related role with a regulated organisation, a consulting firm or a regulator in financial services and/or non-financial services industries
  • Managing whole or parts of the compliance framework in accordance with the regulatory and industry requirements and standards
  • Designing, managing or implementing compliance arrangements in accordance with the guidance provided by ISO 19600 – Compliance Management Systems
  • Managing or participating in projects
  • Managing compliance with elements of the Corporations Act and ASIC requirements such as those relating to responsible lending or financial advice
  • Managing compliance with privacy legislation and requirements
  • Applying for a regulatory licence including APRA ADI (banking) Licence and Australian Financial Service Licence or Australian Credit Licence
  • Experience with any GRC software systems
  • Any other relevant subject matter expert knowledge or experience in regulatory compliance.
