KPMG's Enterprise Deals Tax Advisory business supports clients to look ahead to see how their business decisions can be affected by tax legislation. Your Opportunity

Working within the Enterprise Deals Tax Advisory team your responsibilities as a Senior Consultant will include: 

  • Providing tax advice and solutions to a broad variety of clients with a particular focus on the structuring of privately owned businesses to support wealth accumulation, tax effectiveness and asset protection
  • Advising on cross-border transactions and business structuring, in particular, developing and implementing solutions to tax issues that arise from inbound and outbound businesses and HNWI, property development and succession planning
  • Providing tax advice on asset acquisition and asset divestment (including due diligence), IPO structuring, prospectus drafting and readiness
  • Offering advice and related compliance on employment taxes including remuneration and incentive design for private businesses and start-ups
  • Assisting with the delivery of tax compliance services to a range of clients, including income tax and FBT returns

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • Aspirations to work in partnership with your clients
  • Tax experience in the resource industry, including Petroleum Resource Rent Tax (PRRT) is desirable
  • Demonstrated strategic and innovative thinking skills
  • 2 years of Australian and/or other Commonwealth country corporate tax experience
  • Legal and/or commerce degree (desirable but not essential) 

Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
