Senior Consultant - Contract Assurance & Performance (Commercial Contracts)

The Contract Assurance and Performance (Risk Assurance) team assists clients to recover lost value and reduce leakage in commercial agreements, improve operational performance of contracts, enhance contract management activity effectiveness, and review compliance with contractual obligations at all stages of the contract life-cycle. We also help clients understand their requirements to build their internal capability and develop automated tools to allow them to efficiently manage their contracts.

Your Opportunity

  • You will work and be supported by a team with deep experience in unravelling the client and vendor obligations of large complex commercial agreements across projects and operations.
  • You will be responsible for contract governance, management and compliance reviews for high profile clients across various sectors; focusing on contract management, value extraction and risk management
  • Develop commercial solutions, and undertaking financial analysis and/or developing cost models
  • Develop and/or manage contract governance and assurance programs
  • Working closely with clients across a variety of different industries

  • Knowledge around contract management, procurement processes and complex commercial agreements.
  • Experience having supported outsourced supplier relationships or supply chain management with large commercial contracts.
  • Exposure to varied industry sectors including Retail, Resources or Financial Services working within a Procurement, Supply Chain and/or Contract Management capacity.
  • Tertiary qualification(s), preferably commerce or law related (completed or in progress external qualifications - CIA/CPA/CA will be viewed favourably)
  • The ability to analyse information quickly and efficiently with a commercial focus, using innovative and creative solutions to solve problems
