The Sector Manager, National Security & Justice role reports to the National Security & Justice Sector Lead Partner. The ideal candidate will enjoy working across geographies, divisions and service lines and will have a knack for cultivating relationships and for connecting teams together in the pursuit of growing KPMG’s National Security and Justice Sector. 

Your new role

  • Support the development and implementation of the National Security & Justice Sector strategy
  • Prepare budgets, internal business planning, reports, proposal drafting and other reporting requirements associated with running the sector
  • Development of internal events, newsletters and other initiatives to increase internal knowledge of KPMG offerings and to improve collaboration
  • Work with the internal experts to ensure effective digital marketing and social media activities are adopted
  • Be active in business development of the Sector and meeting other likeminded professionals in the market
  • Foster strong strategic relationships with external education stakeholders
  • Work with external Security bodies to organise KPMG sponsored events

Day-to-day:

  • Support and advise on new education sector RFPs/RFQs with particular focus on connecting different service lines and teams to facilitate strong proposal development and winning of opportunities
  • Assist in qualifying opportunities
  • Provide input into proposals to make relevant for security sector clients
  • Manage security credentials
  • Produce monthly education sector newsletter
  • Provide reporting and analysis on security pipeline, wins and losses
  • Involvement in internal meetings with a view to gaining an understanding of the broader KPMG offerings and how these relate to security clients

You will bring to the role

  • Proven experience across account management/account coordination is desirable
  • Knowledge of the Australian Security Sector is desirable
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to influence others and liaise with senior stakeholders
  • Excellent attention to detail and written presentation skills
  • Strong time management and organisational skills
  • Friendly, professional attitude, pro-active, self-starter with a collaborative team player approach
  • High proficiency in Microsoft office suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience in SAP and Microsoft Dynamics 365
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills
