People Support Manager, Managed Services (Based in Rhodes)

Responsible for effectively leading the People Support team across client engagements to achieve the Operations business goals, incorporating the following functions:
• Project Management
• Resource Planning and Recruitment
• Training and Competence
• Communications

The role will lead a team in the delivery of services referred to above in support of Operations.  Responsible for creating an efficient support model across onshore and offshore operations.

Deliverables
• Partner with the firm’s internal HR team ‘People Performance and Culture’ to ensure that the way that all HR matters aligns to the PPC approach.
• Partner with PPC Business partner on employee/ industrial relations matters including matters relating to modern awards, national employment standard and other relevant workplace legislation
• Lead, motivate, performance manage and develop the team, maximising talent and contribution of individuals in delivering value
• Work with Head Of Operations and the Senior Leadership team to devise People Support Frameworks and then implement effectively across operations cross site
• Responsible for the delivery of recruitment requirements during growth and expansion periods as per capacity plan in liaison with resource partners
• Determine the testing requirements for specialist roles during recruitment phase (e.g. advanced excel, letter proofing or in-tray exercises)
• Responsible for resource forecasting, succession and contingency planning, allowing for changes arising from internal and external factors
• Overseeing onboarding and exit procedures
• Responsible for talent management to include succession planning and career paths
• Delivery and management of training plans ensuring all staff achieve competency within a given timeframe
• Responsible for the maintenance of competency levels through use of staff knowledge assessment and training needs assessment to deliver targeted refresher training and alerts
• Ensure the effective day to day management of all recruitment suppliers ensuring appropriate controls, escalation processes and audits are in place
• Perform service reviews with each supplier against SLAs, ensuring that any adverse results or trends are dealt with via an appropriate action plan, with results monitored for adherence
Essential Experience
• Human resources experience ideally within an operations area
• Min 4 years in a similar function/ role within an operational environment
• Proven ability to work with other functions, including cross-divisional and external suppliers to achieve business objectives
• Proven ability to work at all levels to shape and influence contractual discussions with suppliers
• Proven ability to lead and develop resources

Desirable Experience

• Preferred background in an operational environment
• Industrial relations experience, including working with employee representatives
• Knowledge of modern awards, national employment standards and other relevant workplace legislation

Skills
