Our Operations Advisory team in Adelaide is growing to support the Customer and Operations Service Group, assisting leading companies across all industries to drive sustainable business improvement. We assist our clients to identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of its operations and to successfully execute against these objectives. The team draws on a combination of professional talented people, powerful KPMG methodologies and global resources.

Your new role

Entering a period of growth for the team we’re now looking for a new Consultant.  Key responsibilities will include:

  • Engaging with and building strong relationships with our clients in  the mining, oil and gas, health, public sector and utilities sectors;
  • Analysing information and applying your strong problem solving & quantitative skills to draw relevant insights to client challenges and advise sensible solutions;
  • Ensuring the quality and accuracy of engagement deliverables with an unrelenting attention to detail; and
  • Working in close collaboration with our clients to ensure proposed solutions can be, and are, implemented.

You bring to the role

We are looking for candidates are prepared to be adaptable and who have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications (Engineering / finance / science / maths related degree preferred)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, and the ability to rapidly develop trusted relationships across organisations from operational teams to senior management;
  • Structured problem solving skills and advanced analytical skills;
  • Highly developed written and spoken communication; and
  • A demonstrated interest in making a positive contribution to the wider community.

Prior experience in an engineering or technical consultancy or within the Environment and Natural Resources Sector would be highly regarded, although not essential.
