Your opportunity

Our team is looking for highly motivated people with a passion for Government strategy and delivering complex multi-agency business cases, ultimately for Cabinet deliberation.

We are looking for talented individuals with the following skills and attributes:

  • Thrives in teamwork environments and works well in multidisciplinary teams
  • Has demonstrable experience in Federal Government Cabinet and Budget processes
  • Has strong stakeholder consultation skills and can bring together people with diverse backgrounds and different viewpoints
  • Has demonstrable experience in preparing Second Pass Business Cases, Ministerial correspondence and Cabinet submissions.
  • Is driven and has a proven track record in contributing to and delivering projects successfully
  • Embraces change, and can operate in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with frequent changes in direction.
  • Has excellent writing for government skills and can distil complex ideas into plain English
  • Is a strategic thinker and can analyse and research complex issues
  • Understands project and program management frameworks including benefits management, risk and governance.
  • Has experience in complex government program delivery
  • Has contributed to new policy proposals and has cost analysis experience
  • Engages with Senior Executive Service Officers and Ministerial staff regularly

The majority of our work is with the Australian Government. A national security clearance (or the ability to obtain one) is, therefore, an essential requirement for this role.
