Legal Senior Manager

Starting with KPMG as a Legal Senior Manager, you will take on a leadership role within the remediation mange service program by delivering a cost effective solution of large scale review and processing activity across multiple industries, geographies and processes. The successful individual may initially be managing this on their own until the team of junior legal resource has been built.

Your major responsibilities will include:

  • Liaising with financial institutions on a regular basis re policy/regulatory/customers/complex products etc;
  • Handling highly complex cases, vulnerable customers and AFCA;  
  • Signing off on every case as the final quality control checkpoint, including reviewing the Final letter and deed of settlement;
  • Acting as the subject matter expert for everything else relating to legal/regulatory;
  • Acting as a member of the Exceptions panel and assisting in settling difficult and unique cases.

How are you Extraordinary? You will ideally bring to this role -

  • 10-12 years’ post qualification experience (PQE)
  • Financial Advice Law experience mandatory (retail distribution is the main source of experience required)
  • Management experience of a small team is required
