Finance Platform Lead (Cloud Technologies)

The Technology Advisory team is growing to meet an increasing demand from a broad range of industries that need to transforming their IT capabilities to modern business challenges. From technology transformation through IT strategy, technology architecture, digital strategy, business cases, investment roadmaps, IT operating model evolution and more.

This is a lead role in the Technology Enablement Ignition Centre, working closely with senior client relationship managers, sector leadership and clients to determine current and future needs for technology transformation of finance platforms.

We are looking for a commercially astute, experienced leader with a background at a Tier 1 consulting firm where you have been responsible for delivering complex client proposals, responses to RFP’s and commercial contracts. The successful applicant will join an experienced team leveraging existing networks to delivers whole of firm responses and grow client business.

This role focusses on Finance transformations, and candidates must have significant knowledge of this domain. Also required is prior experience with Oracle, Workday or SAP 4 Hana.

Your opportunity

  • Understand client requirements and best practice implementation of cloud platforms
  • Take ownership of KPMG’s responses to client RFPs on large Finance transformation programs
  • Co-ordinate with sector leads and relationship to manage identify and qualify opportunities. Manage and prioritise pipeline and response activities
  • Be responsible for RFP response strategy and delivery
  • Negotiate contract terms and conditions in accordance with the organisations policies
  • Liaise with Technical Support staff regarding technical issues to ensure client retention and continued business
  • Conduct product demonstrations and coordinating the preparation of proposals, tenders, contract and plans
  • Contribute to development of relationship plans to build and sustain effective C-level and board client relationships
  • Develop revenue growth and profitability plans and strategies for both existing and new clients
  • Build relationships with a broad range of clients over time and assists other team members by introducing them to these contacts
  • Specialise and maintain a specific Line of Business (LOB) and technology specialty focus, being aware of market trends, competitor activity and products/services
  • Use knowledge of KPMG’s broad service offerings to identify and make internal referrals
  • Actively seek and coordinate input from across divisions to develop a compelling differentiated value proposition
  • Identify opportunities and seeds the ideas leading to new work for both existing and new clients

How are you extraordinary?

  • Relevant University degree or an industry recognised qualification
  • Strong product knowledge and solution certifications
  • Tier 1 Consulting experience
  • Substantial experience in Finance Transformation Programs
  • Significant experience in responding to RFTs and RFIs
  • Confident preparing client proposals and conducting client demonstrations
  • Network across other professional bodies and associations
  • A strong leader who drives inclusive behaviours and instils confidence in the wider team
