KPMG’s Risk Consulting practice is a market leader in providing excellence in enterprise governance, risk management and control services. Our Risk Assurance division helps leading organisations establish or transform their internal audit and risk management functions from a traditional, transactions-based approach into one that can deliver strategic business value. 

A key component of KPMG’s Risk Assurance practice is our Risk Consulting team, who work with Boards, Client Executives and operational management to provide opportunities to achieve optimal governance, risk and control environments that support our client’s strategic and operational priorities.

Your Opportunity

As an accomplished professional, you’ll work with extraordinary people who are passionate and courageous about supporting clients to meet and exceed their potential.

You will work closely with senior management to deliver a range of engagements to our mining, oil and gas and energy clients.  You will work closely with our clients, delegating to and supervising more junior team members while being involved in projects that enhance your understanding of wider business issues.

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include: 

  • Experience in the energy and natural resources sector
  • A tertiary qualification, post-grad qualifications such as Engineering will be viewed favourably 
  • An ability to lead and mentor staff
  • Strong ability to analyse information quickly using innovative solutions to solve complex problems
  • Highly developed report writing and communication skills and an ability to present to senior stakeholders
