KPMG’s Deals, Tax & Legal practice assists Australia’s best-known businesses in the complex challenges they face. As a member of the Technology & Innovation team you will be a key source of knowledge in tackling our clients’ technology-based problems to discover value and drive corporate initiatives.

Your new role:

As a member of the Technology and Innovation team within KPMG’s Deals, Tax & Legal division, you will work closely with the director of Legal Technology to assist with the research and implementation of market leading legal technology solutions both within KPMG and our clients. You will:

  • Plan and implement technical research and analysis of a wide variety of technology vendors and products
  • Manage end-to-end technology on-boarding processes to establish a toolkit of approved technology solutions, including engaging with internal stakeholders across the firm, Risk, IT Security and Legal.
  • Work with KPMG Laws’ Legal Operations & Transformation Services team to recommend technology solutions for deployment
  • Work directly with our clients to assist in the implementation of specific technology solutions
  • Interface directly with KPMG Law to assist in the adoption of existing and future products that are being deployed internally

You bring to the role:

The ideal candidate will likely have 2-3 years’ experience as a customer facing technology consultant and whilst experience within professional services would be beneficial it is not essential. You will also have a combination of the following skills and experience:

  • A strong customer service oriented mindset and a knack for solving problems
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills
  • Hands on experience implementing technology within a corporate environment
  • A strong appreciation for IT security, privacy and cloud architecture
  • Basic API skills, or at least an understanding of their importance
  • Tertiary level qualifications within the field of technology and digital services
