We are currently seeking a Consultant to join our Risk Management team supporting KPMG’s Deal Advisory, Tax and Legal professionals. The successful candidate will undertake a unique role, where every day presents something new and interesting. As part of this high-performing and passionate team, your role will enable you to deal first hand with a range of senior people and emerging service offerings.

Your Opportunity

You’ll be self-motivated and use your initiative to build and execute on new projects, and have a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders. We’d love someone who enjoys developing strong internal stakeholder relationships and who relishes the challenges of adapting to evolving business demands and different stakeholder needs.

As a Consultant within Risk Management your responsibilities would include

  • Consulting with client facing professionals regarding risk management issues to support quality service delivery to our clients, and to identify opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Partnering with the Deals, Tax and Legal division and the Risk Management function to drive a strong risk management culture
  • Co-ordinating risk management activities including ongoing project management

To be considered for this opportunity, your qualifications, skills & experience could include:

  • 1-2 years prior experience within a similar role in a professional services environment, potentially looking to move in house from a consulting, tax or legal environment
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise, influence, and inspire confidence with senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional time management and planning skills allowing you to work with attention to detail, while also being cognisant of broader strategic initiatives and issues
  • A sense of curiosity and the drive to seek answers to complex questions
  • Ability to maintain focus and deliver under pressure; can manage multiple tasks and prioritise deadlines
  • Ability to work collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
